Outreach Projects
Friends of the centre have generously donated books, toys, stationery, and clothes to assist with operations. We have additional needs such as a vehicle to transport children, a canopy for a delivery vehicle, a mobile classroom, and library bookshelves.
It is the philosophy of DMZ to train and encourage participants, not beneficiaries, to be as self-reliant as possible, for this philosophy, to take route, we welcome contributions of whatever size and nature by communities we serve. As we monitor progress in implementation, the emphasis is always on how much we do for ourselves as the life of the project continues.
Should you wish to assist, please consider buying our artwork or pieces of handwork such as aprons, bags, and pin cushions.
